On the 10th Day of Christmas we take a look back at the truly exceptional accolades we have gained in 2012.
We literally do not know where to start as the awards team were incredibly busy in 2012 ensuring we were entered into key awards to showcase our exceptional teams. The beginning of the year saw our submission for the London Excellence awards where we became finalists and highly commended by the judges in the Leadership category.
Our operations team were involved in the award action too. Our very own Will Tyler, operations manage,r and Tom Robinson, training and development manage, were listed in the prestigious FMX magazine’s 40 under 40 list and were included in FM World’s rising FM’s.
Sara Campbell, operations manager, was also the first client services team member to reach the last three of the Facilities Management Associations Young Manager of the Year award.
Our success didn’t stop there!
On 25 May, we heard that we were winners of a Best Business award in the Customer Focus category.
We were also finalists in the 2012 Peer awards; Debbie and Lynn from Channel 4 were finalists for ‘Westminster Reception of the Year’, Syreeta Stephenson was a part of the Severn Trent choir which won the BBC’s The Choir, Karen Sealey was awarded MITIE’s volunteer of the year and who can forget our incredibly talented David Melnick – Winner of MITIE’s Got Talent 2012!
Then this happened…
On 8 October 2012, over 1,270 guests attended the premier awards evening in the UK facilities management calendar to see MITE Client Services crowned Service Providers of the Year by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) awards, held in London.
Wow. What a year… if 2012 is anything to go by, 2013 is set to be truly exceptional.
